This is my first official post for our new site. The last version of our site was all done by me. Maggie and I came up with the site design, but I created the functionality. This is also why it was lacking in some areas like; no archive, no pictures/links/etc in posts, and the list goes on including a backend (admin site) that was really hard to use. I decided to go with WordPress. After using a nice little tutorial to create my own unique theme, I thought that this would actually make writing on our blog and stuff, fun!

So, here it is. I tried to stick with a simple theme that resembled our last design. And if I know myself, and I think I do, I will end up changing the theme after I become a little more familiar with WordPress themes.
