Weddings and Airplanes

First and foremost, congratulations Harris and Shayna! You guys are so cute and we love you so much, take good care of each other. (Harris is my younger, newly wed brother). Pictures in the picture section.

I just got back from Vermont where I had a blast, until the flights home. Harris came with me because he bought a ticket after Shayna did and it would have cost $150 more to go with her and then just by coincidence we were on the same flights. But back to the story, so we were running really late and there was a HUGE line for security. We made it through and then they said they had to check one of my bags again. I told Harris to take Patrick and I would meet him on the plane. When I finally got into the gate area they were announcing "last call for Maggie Hansen on flight whatever". I barely made it. Harris was freaking out. He told me that he was thinking of all kinds of ways to stop the plane. He told them one more person is coming (he really didn't want to leave with my kid). He even thought of yelling bomb. Thank goodness that I made it or Harris might still be in Vermont, in prison.

Our next flight the guy next to me wouldn't change seats with Harris because he wanted a window seat. Auretta started crying and wouldn't stop and then we got stuck on the plane while they fixed something for 2 hours before they moved us to another plane. When we got on the new plane the man was in a different seat. Guess he wasn't cut out for two tired children and one really tired mom on a four hour flight after 2 hours already on that plane. Needless to say by the time we landed in SLC, Harris was convinced he doesn't want kids for a LONG time. But I did appreciate his help and I'm grateful he was there.  On the plus side, we got free movies on the plane! And it is sure good to be home again with Chad.
