I HATE POTTY TRAINING!!!! Patrick is doing great at peeing. But he decided that since I make him poop on the toilet or he gets a time out for pooping in his pants, that he might as well wait until night time to poop (when he has a diaper on). So last night when I was feeding baby Jo at 12:30 AM I heard some noises. I went to check them out and Patrick was hiding in our room. I asked if he was poopy and he said yes. (Remember it is dark and I can't see anything). I soon find out he took his pj's off, not too big of a deal except he is freezing cold. I lay him down and find that he has put underwear on (and not very well either). At this point I turn on the lights to find that he had indeed pooped and tried to take care of it himself. He took off his diaper and put underwear on. Got to give the kid props for trying. I freak out and yell for Chad to find the diaper. Luckily it is in the bathroom (thank goodness!). So our whole house hold is up and going crazy. We got Patrick and the mess cleaned up and everyone in bed.
At 4:00 AM Patrick woke us up again because he had to go pee on the potty. Sure he wakes us up for pee but not poop. Auretta wakes up and she has a poopy diaper now. and then Patrick won't go back to sleep. So to you mom's out there, I have a question, is there anything to mothering toddlers besides cleaning poop and not getting any sleep?Just kidding, I know there is good stuff too.
good stuff: we took AJ in for her baby pictures yesterday. They turned out very cute so you can look forward to that. If you would like to hear Patrick mumble "I love to see the Temple", give me a call on my Cell phone (especially Grandpa Lunt)
