Halloween was a blast. Patrick woke up saying candy and continued to bug me about candy all day. Our ward had a chili cook off and then trunk or treating. Auretta was kitty, Patrick was a fireman and to connect the two Chad was a ladder and I was a tree. Crazy I know.

My favorite part of the whole day was our "Haunted Mini-van". Last year my mom put a box maze in the back of her van for trunk or treating. So I decided to do that this year. It was fun to make and the kids had a great time with it. One kid about 10 years old kept going through and came up to me asking if he could go one more time. He told me my van was the coolest. The little kids were scared but Patrick had a blast with it.  Every time he came out he would ask for candy again. Only a couple of the really big kids or the girls with fluffy dresses got stuck and then the parents would wonder if they were coming out or not. Pretty talented kids to get lost in a mini van.

When we got home and people would come to the door I would be on the porch giving them candy and Patrick would sneek up from behind and say trick or treat like he was with that group. I almost fell for it once or twice. That kid has sugar on the brain.

We had some friends come over after and played good old dominos. All in all it was a good holiday.
