It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I'm loving it!!!!!!! I love winter and snow and Christmas trees, I love all of it. Most of all I love this time of year when I get to think of Christ and the gift that was given so many years ago. And for the first time I'm enjoying telling the Christmas story to my kid with comprehension on his part.

Patrick totally gets Christmas this year. He has a nativity set he plays with and we read the scriptures and talk about the story. His favorite characters are the wise men because they have jewels. But he also gets santa and presents. The first day the presents were under the Christmas tree he wanted to open them. Then we talked about how we had to wait until santa came. So when Baby Jo gets into the presents (which she does 2-10 times a day), Patrick stands in front of the tree and tells her, "No presents, Santa comes!" Translation, we can't open presents until santa comes. Pretty cute.

Anyways, we love the snow and our little tree and the cute kids crawling around. We can't wait to spend some time in Boise with my family. And will miss Chad's this year.
