Merry Christmas Everyone

I can't believe it is here. Christmas is a funny thing. When you are a kid those 25 days to Christmas takes FOREVER but now it sneaks up behind and bites you in the butt. And when it bites it takes a chunk of money with it. Oh well.

I am grateful for it though. I love the memories made and I hope that my kids will enjoy their childhood Christmas's just like I did. I will never forget all my siblings sleeping in the same room (except Michael because he actually wanted sleep), waking up and checking to see if Santa had been there yet. The first one to find out that he had been there was the lucky one. It was always between Levi and I though. We were the crazy ones. I say lucky one because they got to go through their stockings and then everybody else's before waking up the others. Then all 6 of us (Michael would never consent to getting up with us, I don't know why it was already 3AM) would sneak up stairs, skipping the steps that creaked and then proceeded to go through all the stockings and then replacing all the items like we had never looked through them.

It is funny to think about because there is no way that our parents didn't hear us and we convinced that we quiet enough. And I know now that they knew we went through everything. Those were some of the sweetest moments of my life. Watching someone open the present that you saved up for and took time to pick out, enjoying all the presents, not just yours and just feeling so much love for the family. I want a big family just so my kids can have a big family Christmas experience. But I don't know that that is reason enough.

Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
