The Little Things

There haven't been any major events this last week. But it has been full of wonderful little things.

-we couldn't go sledding out side so we went inside. The kids sat in a sleeping bag and I pulled them around the front room. Patrick loves it!

-I finished watching my Christmas gift, Gilmore Girls season 7. What a great show and in my current condition I cry all the time watching it. But I know that I have been watching it to much because Patrick runs around saying "Rory, Rory, Rory" and Auretta stops everything to dance to the end credit music. Who can resist those la la las?

-I finished another great series too. We have been listening to Harry Potter on CD and I finished Book 7 (why does everything end on 7?) So I was kind of sad, what am I going to do now. Then I remembered that I never listened to 6 because they were all checked out! Wow, I'm so lame you can tell I stay at home all the time.

-Auretta played the piano for the first time and it is very apparent to me that I am by far the most non-musical person in this family. My kids definitely inherited the Seguire music talents.

-I sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Patrick for the first time and at the end of the song when it says, "How I wonder what you are?", Patrick pointed to himself and said, "Patrick". Too funny and cute!

-Last but not least, Chad went on his first boy scout camp out as an adult. He froze but had a decent time. I missed him at home.
