The first birthday comes with so many mixed feelings. I can't believe a whole year has gone by, it went so fast. But at the same time, has it really only been a year that Baby Jo has been lighting up our home? She has always been a part of us, we just didn't know it until last April Fools. I'm also glad to see her walking and growing up, but sad to see her make the transfer from baby to toddler. In some ways I wish I could hold onto my little babies. But atlas, I will have a new baby boy in 4 very short months.

Moving on, the birthday was really fun. We were sick, but still had a pretty good day. She didn't know what to think about with her cupcake, the sticky frosting really threw her off. But once it got to her mouth she was converted. Between the stuffy nose and the full mouth she had a hard time breathing. When I was cleaning her up and had her sitting on the counter she went for her second cupcake with that amazingly quick grad of hers.

She got a kitchen and food and other great gifts from grandparents. But the favorite gift was... you guessed right, the box. Enjoy the pictures.
