On Thursday we went to Provo's Balloon Fest. It was neat to see all the balloons. Patrick loved it until he got up close to one and they lit the fire. He was pretty much a chicken the rest of the time. None of them took off because of weather but we got to see them set up.
Saturday we went to IHOP (more like "I barley move") with Darrin and Embar and then boating. It was enjoyable. Chad went wake boarding and discovered just how out of shape he is. He is almost as sore as I am but will recover in no time. I have to give birth in order to feel better. So my sympathy level is not as high as it should be. Sorry Chad, bad wife moment.
We should have planned better. There is one activity that I really wanted to do, but we were just too tired after boating. In Orem they set up an Ellis Island. You go through as if you were an immigrant in 1900 and take a citizen test. I hope we can start this tradition because it would be a way to celebrate Independence Day with an activity that actually has to do with America. Next year. There are pictures of them on Sunday. Cutest 4th of July outfits ever! Kids are pretty cute too : ) I just have one more question, why can't kids smile at the same time for the same picture?
