I have been running like a crazy woman, as most of you know. And not the mommy running around either, well, ok, that too. But actual running. I have my half marathon in less than a month. On Saturday I ran 10 miles while Chad rode his bike next to me. Who the heck runs 10 miles!?!?! I have passed into a realm of total crazy! I thought there was suppose to be some sort of runners high? That runners high compares to the pressure when in labor. Alright, not that bad, not even close. But still, I could barely walk afterwards. But I'm still doing it. I have 26 miles planned for this week. I will run them, all of them, through the grace of God. And that will be my marathon. Then come August 21 I will run 13.1 miles down a beautiful canyon, run across the finish line and not run for a least a month.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me. Last month I was running down main street and started to walk when a voice behind me said, "Keep going, you're doing great." I turned around a saw a friendly face from my neighborhood. I can't thank my neighbors enough for the honks, the waves, the smiles.
