The most obvious achievement for me this year, my miles and miles of running concluded with my half marathon in August. Chad has been working hard at school and slowly getting closer to a master's degree. Patrick enjoyed preschool and can spell and write his name well. Auretta Jo has grown more into her ocd personality that keeps us laughing and going crazy. David turned one and all the fun that goes with growing from 6 months to 18 months. In fact, it would be more than safe to say that he has changed the most. All in all, it was a fairly quite year filled with noisy children, long nights, tears and absolutely precious moments. All the joys and trials that accompany 3 small, growing children. And we ended the year with the good news that we will be dancing to the pitter patter of another set of feet. Although personally, I think that is a dumb saying because I can hardly ever hear their feet over their talking, yelling, crying, laughing, and smashing of things. So we will dance to another all around noise maker :)
Next year we look forward to potty training (wish us luck), another pregnancy, a sweet newborn, my oldest going to school, and Chad finishing classes. Wow, I'm tired already. But also filled with joy. Just picture me with drowsy eyes and a big smile.

You're a "pro" by now. You totally got this! :)
Wow, does this take me back. The period of life you are in right now is so much work. I am glad my time there is done. It's so much better saved for the young.
Best wishes for all your plans in the new year.
