My sister Laura got her mission call to Arkansas! She leaves on February 27. I wanted to fly down to Houston to be there the first time she went to the temple. Not only was I blessed enough to go but my grandmother agreed to go with me, which is huge because it is only the second time she has traveled to see our family and we make up 7 of her 10 grandchildren. She hates adventures (more than your average hobbit). I was excited to get out of Salt Lake's poison air and breath some moisture. The weather was absolutely beautiful! And seeing my parents and sisters was amazing! I also got to enjoy Levi's kids who are so cute!
I didn't take any of the kids with me which was sad but also very relaxing. I slept in and talked and shopped and went to the bathroom by myself; yay for breaks! But after 6 days I was very excited to see the Hansen clan. Chad did an amazing job watching the kids. His mom helped for the first few days but he was by himself most of the time. He even took them to church and had the house cleaned before they came to pick me up. I'm impressed. They were all excited to see me. I don't think Jessie realized I was gone until I came back. She has been very clingy since I got back. I'm loving all the extra hugs from her.
I'm grateful I got to spend time with Laura Jean and my other family members. I'm especially grateful I got to make some memories with my grandma. It is such a great blessing to not only have righteous parents and grandparents but siblings also. I have been truly blessed.
