Muncle Kyle and Ashley's Wedding

We went to Colorado for Kyle's wedding a whole month after Olive was born. We drove all night (which was sad because I couldn't see beautiful Colorado) and got to Woodland Park Thursday morning (where I got to see my beautiful family which is better than Colorado but only slightly.) I always love going back to where I grew up. It is still a wonderland for me, my fairy tale.

We rented a house in Colorado Springs so we all got to stay together. All of us! Which includes 11 adults and 13 kids, 10 of which are 3 or younger! Lets just say  it smelt of poopy diapers and sounded of cries. But it was FULL of love and laughter also. We had a great time.

Friday morning we left all the kids except Olive with a few babysitters and The AMAZING Janiea. We left for the Denver Temple in 3 different vans. In the first was my parents, Michael and Clarissa. They got to the temple just fine. In the second van was Levi, Laura, Harris and Shayna. Shayna put in Denver Temple on her GPS. Levi has been to the temple many times (we grew up there, remember?). Then Chad and I pulled up the rear. We were just going to follow them but Chad decided to put Denver Temple into his phone also. So the whole time Levi and I while in different vehicles kept thinking and saying, "I've never been to the temple this way. This doesn't look right. I think we're going the wrong way." But we pressed on with our faith in technology. Only to end up at Cosa Bonita 30 minutes past the temple. We then put in LDS Denver Temple and quickly headed back. And when we got there, guess who didn't have her temple recommend? Yeah, me.

Miracles of miracles, they waited for us, looked up my member number, and we got to be there for that special occasion. We all felt a special angel's presence and held back the tears as we all smiled at Grandma and Grandpa Harris. Man, I miss her. Anyways, it was an absolutely beautiful sealing and an overload of great information. We are happy to welcome Ashley into the circus!

We went to church Sunday in Woodland Park where my old seminary teacher taught Sunday School. We then had some problems and weren't able to leave until 9pm. We got home at 5am and said goodbye to Chad at 7 am when he left for the week long scout camp. Candace saved the day later by showing up and hanging around for a couple of days. Her help was greatly appreciated.

In was a little nuts and too quick, but how else are you suppose to make memories?

p.s. I may or may not attach pictures to this post in the future.
