This April Fools, we had a tea party. Auretta and I picked out little cups and plates at D.I. for each little girl invited. They sat around a little table eating strawberries, veggies, cheese, meat and crackers. It was surprisingly simple and delightful! Our little go-getter is 6!

She is helpful and a perfectionist. But when something is wrong, it is wrong! She is currently sharing a bedroom with Olive which means there's a monitor in her room. I love listening to her cleaning her room when she's upset. She mutters and then all of a sudden will burst out with attitude sounds. Sighs and hurmps. It makes me laugh! Does that make me a bad mom? It's easy to laugh because I know she'll be ok and it's easy to not fight because she still gets the job done. She is just a good kid and I love her dearly.
