Olive turned one! During the first year of her life she spent a lot of time over at the Groslands. They are our neighbors. Their daughter Sam watched her all the time. The whole family feel in love with her. So it seemed only appropriate to invite them over to watch her dig into cake. Sam couldn't come though because she's on a mission. We took lots of pictures for her.

Olive immediately went for her chocolate cake. She was a little annoyed with the birthday song and candle nonsense. She wanted the cake! I don't blame her.

She walks all over the place and looks to small to do it. She makes very cute sounds but no words. She has four teeth she likes to smile with. She is adorable and lights up our home. We are all so smitten with her. I wish every baby could have so many people that think they are the center of the world. She is so loved!
