On Saturday Chad had to go with the deacons to the Hill Air Force base up in Layton UT. Well, I kind of have a thing for planes ever since my first air show 2 years ago. So I asked if I could go with them. We took Auretta to a babysitter and just took Patrick up to see the "big planes". It was a lot of fun. By the 20th big plane Patrick was bored. To him they all look the same I guess. I wish I could have read all the signs and everything, but I caught sight of the one that mattered to me. Dad and Cameron, you will appreciate this, there was a beautiful mustang and it made me want to meet you guys in Rexburg this summer to see one fly. That was so flippin' cool!!!!!!!!
At the end there was a really neat little learning center. It had a few simulators and all kinds of good physic games. Of course I was stuck playing with the toys at the front of the room. Oh well, such is the life of a mother. Chad had a great time and had to fight with one of the deacons to get a turn with the simulator.
I really enjoyed my one on one time with Patrick, but it was even greater to pick up Auretta Jo when we were all done. I don't mean that I love my girl more than my boy, I just love the whole family together. We aren't complete when one of us is gone. I put her in the car and Patrick smiled so big. They are really becoming friends. They play together and everything. I don't mean play by each other, they actually play together!
