This last weekend we went up to Dillon for a very special event. Let me give just a few details. When I first met Chad his younger brother was into drugs. As our marriage continued, Chuck got worse. Over the next couple of years he went from homeless to more drugs to a pregnant girl friend. That was 2 years ago this fall. Thankfully, they really did love each other and marriage was a fine option for them. The wedding was beautiful and they were adorable. They are one of those couples were it is plain as day that they are crazy about each other and would follow each other to the end of the world. And that is what they did. Kaja had a miscarriage over half way through the pregnancy. A month or two after that they hit rock bottom. I don't need to give details here.
That is when they called Chad's parents and asked if they could come live with them. They could as long as they were going up, improving. And they did improve, faster than we thought possible. Kaja had a desire for the gospel like I've never seen. She got baptized and changed over night it felt like. And he loved her, so he followed right along.
Yesterday, they went to the temple and I can't express my feelings of gratitude for the answered prayers. My testimony of the Lord and His plan has grown so much. As I was listening to the sealer talk before the sealing, I looked down at my temple recommend holder and saw something I have never noticed before. There is a picture of Christ with a lamb, which is what I always look at, but underneath it it reads, "Lost no more."

Chuck and Kaja if you read this, I want you to know how much we love you two and we are so proud of you. Repentance takes a lot of courage and faith, and you have shown both of these traits. It is wonderful to have you back!
