Roommate Reunion

When I went to college I was scared to death of the idea of roommates. Up until that point I had only hung out with guys. I had my brothers and their friends. Ryan Lawrance was my best "girl" friend. How was I going to live with girls? They don't fart! They wear makeup and are emotional! AHHH!!!! It became even worse when I met my roommate. I walked in and a girl in an army outfit with a hard look on her face was there. Her mom was really nice and talked to me, she wouldn't. Then I got brave and asked if she wanted to go to orientation with me and got some kind of response like, "I don't socialize." Needless to say, I was a little nervous around her. Luckily I met Kay at orientation and she was a really nice dork like me. We got along just great. I invited her my apartment and while she was there all of the roommates started talking and playing a game together. Then things started to get really funny. Later Katie's brother came in and smelled butane. We left our gas stove on. We all thought it was hilarious that we almost killed ourselves. It was a dangerous way to brake the ice but did the job. From that moment on we all got along just great and I got to see past Nicole's scary outside. Although we didn't become the best of friends until after we were both married and pregnant (being crabby really brought us together). I'm so grateful that I had such amazing roommates. I got married after only 2 semesters so it was a great blessing to make those lifelong friends right away. That was five years ago and we got together this last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Cameron and Nicole came and stayed with us for the weekend. The house was kind of crazy with 5 kids under 3 1/2. We were all so tired. We would watch stupid stuff until midnight, walk up with babies throughout the night and then walk up with them at 6:00. I'm so tired! Then on Saturday night Kay, Katie and Sarah (who just got home from a mission) came over.  It was great to see everyone and we still can talk FOREVER! I think Katie and Sarah were standing by the door ready to leave for an hour before they actually left. Of course I didn't get any pictures of the roommates, but I got some of kids at the park.
Auretta, Daxton (Kay's), Kaitlyn and Breann (Nicole's)
Patrick and Breann
Enjoying gold fish (I think Breann is an angel, do you see her glow?)
I think David has the right idea. That is what I want to be doing at the park.
