Big Band Night

I finally convinced or bugged Chad into buying tickets to Big Band Night. It is a 1940's dinner and dance. I wish we knew more swing dancing, but we had a good time looking ridiculous. But the best part was dressing up. My cousin told me to go to a beauty school to get my hair done (super cheap). We all decided that I have a LOT of short hair and it is hard to deal with. The first girl basically gave up and the second had to deal with all the hair spray the first girl used, but the instuctor helped out and it turned out fine. Although when I tried to wash it afterwards, the water just slid off as if I were a duck. I had to use a lot of shampoo to get the junk out.  I wish I had better pictures. I should have taken pictures of other couples too. Some of them looked like they came straight from the 1940's, it was amazing! I almost teared up when the really awesome couples showed off their swing dancing skills. It is a dream of mine to know how to dance, especially swing since that is what I did in high school.

Chad was an incredible date! He let me pick his clothes, do his hair, and dance as long as I wanted. And he did  all of that after a long week, with a break down by me, and watching the kids a lot more than he is used to. Where would I be without my prince charming? He works so hard to keep me happy, when really all I need is his happiness because it is contagious. I don't mean to be cheesy, he was just wonderful this weekend. Thanks Chad and I love you!
